Ram Janmabhoomi
5th Aug 2020 was really a auspicious day. The Ayodhya Ram Mandir is being reconstructed after a long and painful journey. Lord Rama, who till now stayed in tents will get a mesmerizing temple. The entire nation is happy and filled with pride for this triumphant moment. Over 492 years struggle, we get to see this beautiful day. Its Almost like every devotee's dream come true.
It can be called as a first step towards the restoration of the lost glory of Lord Rama.
Since Ram Mandir has been a boiling, let's take stock of the whole journey that brings us to this present day.
The famous ancient Indian epic 'Ramayana' states that, Lord Rama was born on the banks of Sarayu river in Ayodhya ( U. P. )
But in 15th century, Mir Baqi, who was the commander of mughal emperor Babur, constructed Babri mosque at the exact place of Lord Rama's birth, after razing the Rama temple.
In the middle of 18th century, the dispute regarding the land took a violent form. As many people tried to destroy the existed structure and both sides believed that, the particular land belongs to them.
It further, accelerated in 1992, when demolition of the present structure took place and gave rise to various debates and controversies regarding inter religious affairs. On 9th may 2011,the case was firstly filed before the Supreme Court of India.
The final hearing of Supreme Court regarding Ayodhya issue started on 6th Aug 2019 and continued till 16 Oct 2019. The arguments lasted for marathon 200 hours.
And finally the glorious day arrived, on 9th November 2019 , Supreme Court held that the land to be handed over to a trust to build a Rama temple.
Here we all must not forget the valiant efforts of S.C. Lawyer, K. Parasaran, who argued the case barefoot standing 4-5 hours each day at 90+ age for 40 days.
After the decision of SC, the Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust was formed in February 2020, which will oversee the construction of Ram Mandir.
5th August 2020 was chosen as a auspicious day for Bhumi Pujan by many saints. The foundation stone was laid by our beloved PM Narendra Modiji at the 'Abhijit muhurath' that started from 12:44 , 8 seconds to 12:44, 40 seconds.
The Bhoomi Pujan ceremony was attended by PM Narendra Modiji, UP CM Yogi adityanath, UP governor Anandi Patel, and RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat.
Ram Temple billboards were also displayed in New York's iconic Times Square. This was indeed a 'proud moment' for Indians across the globe.
Our PM stated that , "despite efforts to eradicate Lord Rama's existence, he still lives in our hearts and is basis of our culture".
I too believe that inspite of having lots of negativity, the truth will always conquer the lie. And we must keep in mind that if the truth is on our side, in any battle the victory is rest assured.

ReplyDeleteEvery aspect of ‘Ram Janmabhoomi’ & ‘Ram Mandir’ is well covered and expressed in simple and touching words. Equally, liked the concluding two lines.
ReplyDeleteAbove all, you have expressed your talents and art of blending present social issues for commoners to understand better.
Ayodhya Ram Mandir is a symbol of ‘HINDUS, HINDUISM & HINDU PRIDE' which marks the culmination of the colonial view of Hinduism, and the project of Partition. It is truly a symbol of the return of HINDU POWER in the direction of restoring a BHARAT OF YORE
Keep up the good work Shambhavi. Proud of you.
